HOME & MOBILE BANKING SECURITY CHANGES
EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 14, 2011: Due to new regulations from the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), we are required to implement increased security procedures for your internet and mobile banking. The changes will be as follows:
-After December 13, the "Challenge Questions" will be gone. They will be replaced with a more secure "Random PIN" which will send you a number to your e-mail or to your cell phone via text. You must then use this PIN to sign on to your home or mobile banking.
-The PIN will be a 5 digit number and will be used to authenticate NEW computers or mobile devices you sign into your home banking on. You should only have to use this PIN the first time on your computer or mobile device.
-You must have an email address or a text-enabled cell phone to receive the Random PIN. If you do not have an email address, they are available for free with most major search engines or Internet providers. You will not be able to access Home Banking without an email address or a text-enabled cell phone.
We understand changes like this can be confusing, and we will be glad to assist if you have any problems. We are committed to your security in the current electronic environment.
*NOTE: If using e-mail for the Random PIN, you must open another Internet Browser for your e-mail, while keeping your LPCCU Internet Banking window open to receive a valid PIN for that Internet Banking session. Cookies must be enabled.
E-Statements
Sign up for E-Statements now! After signing up, you will receive an e-mail on or around the first business day of the month and can then view your statement instantly! You can also view our newsletter and inserts as well. Another benefit is that your statements will be stored for 12 months. That means you can access your statements for up to 12 months. E-Statements are safe, secure, and fast. Please give us a call or an e-mail if you have any further questions on the benefits of E-Statements.
